Each level, shaded unpowered camp site holds a maximum of six guests and you can even bring your pet! Beautiful central Victoria has many heritage sites and outdoor adventures to offer at any time of the year. Fishing and water sports can be found in the area as well as a wide variety of hiking and biking trails. There is also gorge country, the Victorian high country and the ski fields of Mt. Buller only an hour away. The local area is rich with small towns that reflect the history of gold-mining and forestry that brought so much wealth to the region.

Yea is located right in the middle of The Great Victorian Rail Trail, a famous area for hiking and biking that runs 134 km and includes the historic Cheviot Rail Tunnel. This quaint town boasts 27 historical sites on the Yea Heritage Walk as well as a shopping and dining along High Street. An especially interesting way to view Yea is by dining on a horse drawn tram as it winds its way through the old streets.

A short walk from our caravan park is the Yea Wetlands protected habitat with its paths, boardwalks and bridges that allow you to wander over the streams and small lakes that provide a home for koalas, platypus, frogs and many other species of wildlife including the living fossil, the coloured damselfly.
